As a service to our customers, the following information describes upcoming or ongoing system upgrades along with any scheduled or unscheduled downtimes. All scheduled downtimes will be carried out in off-peak hours when possible to reduce the impact on our customers.

May 20, 2010 10:51 AM - (DSL) A port error in our Baltimore, MD NOC is affecting about 50 chesapeake.Net DSL customers. The port is resetting itself randomly and causing some DSL customers to be disconnected for periods ranging from 1 to 5 minutes. Technicians are aware of the issue and are working to move affect users to a different NAS port. ETA is 5PM today

May 16, 2010 9:00 AM - (MAIL) Mail server continues to have problems. It appears that anyone who is not using the Postini spam filter is not receiving mail. May 15, 2010 5:00 PM - (MAIL) Password database for email is now back online. Additional issues are being worked on for users utilizing the STAMPS spam filter.
May 15, 2010 1:10 AM - (MAIL) Power issues caused by severe weather are affecting the Network Operations center in Salisbury, MD. One of our password databases is offline which is preventing some customers from sending and/or receiving their email. Technicians are working the issue but no ETA is available yet for a fix.
Apr 15, 2010 4:10 PM - (MAIL) Telco issue has been resolved. Email is now functioning normally
Apr 15, 2010 10:30 AM - (MAIL) Due to a downed data line in the salisbury area, The mail server is inaccessible as is our technical support and billing staff. Phone company technicians are aware of the issue and have been dispatched to make repairs. No ETA has been given.
